This Rental Agreement is made on ____________ at ____________, between ____________ (hereinafter the “Landlord”) and ____________ (hereinafter the “Tenant”).
- 1. Premises. The Landlord lets to the Tenant the residential premises situated at ____________ (the “Premises”), for residential use only.
- 2. Term. The tenancy is for a period of 11 months commencing on ____________, renewable by mutual consent.
- 3. Rent. The Tenant shall pay a monthly rent of ₹______, payable in advance on or before the 5th day of each month.
- 4. Security Deposit. The Tenant has paid a refundable security deposit of ₹______, refundable at the end of the tenancy after deducting dues and the cost of any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- 5. Utilities. Electricity and water charges shall be paid by the Tenant as per actual usage.
- 6. Notice. Either party may terminate this agreement by giving 30 days’ written notice to the other.
- 7. Use & Care. The Tenant shall use the Premises responsibly, not sublet it, and maintain it in good condition. The Landlord shall ensure peaceful possession.
